Yayasan Kasih Globalindo is a non-profit organization specializing in the diagnosis and management of HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STI). Yayasan Kasih Globalindo is running a health clinic that will provide comprehensive HIV and STI services. This clinic will be focused on early diagnosis and treatment of HIV to preserve immune function and stop HIV transmission. We are looking for dedicated, caring staff who will provide non-judgmental, one-stop services for young people at risk coming from Jakarta and the surrounding area.

Currently Yayasan Kasih Globalindo (YKG) is looking for:

Post Title : Data Officer (DTO)
Location/Duty Station : Jakarta, Indonesia
Duration of Assignment : 12 months

Education : Bachelor degree

A. Function/Key Results Expected

  • Gathers patient information by collecting demographic information from a variety of sources; interacting with registration areas and physicians’s clinic; act as the receptionist as well as retrieving information from e-file.
  • Maintains master patient index by completing assigned portion of daily audit trail; corrects and communicates problems according to established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Initiates the medical record by creating and processing the patient care record folder.
  • Retrieves medical records by following the Standard Operating procedures; documenting reasons medical record cannot be retrieved and follow-up purposes.
  • Delivers medical record to assigned areas of the clinic by following established routing procedures.
  • Keeps health care providers informed by communicating availability or unavailability of the record.
  • Maintains quality results by following Clinic’s standards.
  • Maintains continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Maintains patient confidence by keeping patient records information confidential.
  • Serves and protects the clinic community by adhering to professional standards, clinic policies and procedures, the Ministry of Health of Republic of Indonesia, and local requirements.
  • Enhances medical records and clinic reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Input, process, and analyze service data using the system that is already established and regularly report to Management of Clinic.
  • Provide the input and advice to the management based on analysis of service data.
  • Act as the representative of management for coordinating with the Office of Health, Health Office, the Ministry of Health, Donors, NGO, other partners and relevant parties.

 B. Recruitment Qualification

  1. Bachelor’s degree in any major (preferably with specialization in statistics)
  2. Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience working in the HIV/AIDS project is a distinct advantage
  3. Familiar with HIV Reporting System ( SIHA ) would be preferrable
  4. Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience of monitoring and evaluation expertise area
  5. Experience in data management or analysis
  6. Familiarity with Excel, Word processing, data management, other internet-based applications
  7. Good communications skills in written and spoken Indonesian and English
  8. An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  9. Must be detail-oriented and able to work both independently and in a team
Post Title : Laboratory Analyst (LAB)
Location/Duty Station : Jakarta, Indonesia

Education : Bachelor degree
Experience : More than 2 years

A. Function/Key Results Expected

  • Perform Laboratory tests including pre- and post-analytic phases in the day to for providing the clinic and other key partners the HIV/AIDS and STI testing
  • Produce and prepare the accurate and reliable data, interpret result and treat all data as the confidential information.
  • Prepare and keep update the Standard Operating Procedure and adhere to correct procedure, policies and health/safety guidelines
  • Keep abreast of all industry developments and best practices for the laboratory and follow the methodologies in carrying routine tasks and approved by the clinic coordinator
  • Research relevant topics and gather information data as needed
  • Maintain document all activities, record results and insert/retrieve data and provide the administrative assistance as needed
  • Maintain the work area and Equipment

 B. Recruitment Qualification

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology or related field
  2. Minimum of 1 (one) years of experience working in the HIV/AIDS project is a distinct advantage and it is requirement
  3. Minimum of 2 (two) year of experience as Laboratory analyst
  4. Experience in handling the Laboratory data and analysis
  5. Familiarity with Excel, Word processing, data management, other internet-based applications
  6. Good communications skills in written and spoken Indonesian and English
  7. An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  8. Must be detail-oriented and able to work both independently and in a team
